The size-11 offer is not automatically medium
The absence of a width suffix should prompt a check of the seller’s selected option. The 10.5 W and 12 W titles explicitly name wide sizes; neither proves that this size 11 has the same width or a standard-width construction. Choose the actual combination needed rather than reading a photograph as evidence of available interior space.
Details worth checking on the exact boot
The official Keele Ridge model page lists a nylon shank, metallic lacing hardware and a top speed hook. These distinguish its construction more usefully than the general industrial hiker description. A structural shank is not a puncture-resistant plate, and the presence of hardware does not establish how well the ankle will move for a particular wearer.
Length, coverage and weather are separate choices
If 10.5 is too short, size 11 is a logical nominal length to investigate. If the complaint is side pressure, a documented width alternative may answer a different question. Do not add length to a waterproof hiker solely to accommodate thicker socks without also reassessing how the heel remains held.
Keele Ridge’s manufacturer-documented membrane is a reason to compare it with a non-waterproof boot for repeated wet routes. It is not a reason to ignore the collar opening or the drying routine. For a mostly indoor role, ask whether that wet-weather construction is useful before choosing it simply because waterproof sounds more capable.
