Editorial Methodology
Our recommendations separate exact product facts from contextual editorial judgment.
1. Verify identity
The product title, ASIN, image, and outbound destination must identify the same item. We reject mismatched or generic product imagery.
2. Confirm steel-toe construction
Collections on this site require an explicit steel-toe description. We do not silently substitute composite, alloy, soft-toe, cap insert, overshoe, or novelty products.
3. Match the work environment
We compare the complete shoe against the job: floor, terrain, moisture, debris, electrical conditions, mobility, and employer rules. Separate features must be documented separately.
4. Explain fit and tradeoffs
We describe toe clearance, width, heel hold, boot height, flexibility, and material tradeoffs. Comfort is contextual, not a universal ranking.
5. Maintain the catalog
Amazon availability, product pages, images, and model families can change. We re-check exact listings before publication and during updates; prices are left on Amazon rather than copied into evergreen pages.
