Why choose the low Intercept
The Intercept low shoe belongs in a different comparison from a six-inch work boot. Its upper leaves less material around the ankle, which may be useful on an indoor walking route where low footwear is permitted. Timberland’s current men’s Intercept page describes an asymmetrical steel toe and EVA construction. Confirm the style associated with this black listing before applying details from the current family page.
Compare 11W with 11W
The Grey/Red 11W offer keeps nominal length and width alike, making it a more useful color comparison than Black 10M or 13M. W is the selected width category, not a promise about toe-box height or heel shape. The black offer should earn the purchase through availability and appearance only after the same required size and model are confirmed.
Avoid a misleading Intercept substitution
Timberland also uses Intercept on Mid and CSA products. Those names can bring different coverage and protective specifications; they should not be treated as synonyms for this low athletic shoe. In particular, a puncture-resistant feature from a Mid CSA page cannot be assumed here.
If the job now requires a boot, compare the Keele Ridge or another suitable boot rather than selecting a larger Intercept in the hope of obtaining more coverage. If your current 11W low shoe already works, recording the full style helps you replace the successful configuration without accidentally switching within the broader Intercept range.
