Large size, same closure decision
The other Revolver offer here is brown 9.5; this one specifies 12 Wide. The difference matters for finding the required size, but it does not support claims that the larger pair is built for a heavier worker or offers greater protection. A boot’s safety performance is established through its model documentation and marking, not inferred from the number printed on the box.
Where the Revolver differs from laced boots
CAT’s Revolver uses a pull-on leather upper and welted construction. Without laces, the relationship among instep, heel and shaft determines whether the foot remains held. Extra width that is welcome across the forefoot should not be accepted if it also allows the foot to move forward excessively. Compare entry and removal after walking, rather than choosing the pair that drops on most easily while seated.
A practical alternative when the shape fails
If a suitable 12 Wide Revolver remains too loose through the instep, a laced boot may offer a different adjustment route. Do not try to rescue the purchase with increasingly thick socks that reduce space under the toe cap. Likewise, a painful entry is not proof that the boot is correctly secure once on.
The lower Wheelbase Chelsea is worth examining when shaft height and movement around the ankle drive the choice, although the linked Wheelbase size 8.5 is not your replacement size. Use that comparison to identify the model, then locate the correct Wheelbase size independently.
