Large-size shopping without accidental substitutions
This listing provides both length 13 and Wide in the title, useful details when retailer results combine several sizes. Match both in the final order. If the selected offer changes to size 12, extra-wide or a different Skechers model, the same product photograph may not make that substitution obvious.
A wide forefoot does not automatically mean a high-volume heel. The right size-13 candidate should leave the toes comfortable without requiring excessive lace tension to control the rear. A well-known brand or a width label cannot settle that individual geometry question.
Compare width before changing length
The Navy Cankton 12 W listing is another wide selection but one full numbered size shorter. Use it only if that length fits; choosing it simply because it is available can move the front of the foot against the cap. The Black/Charcoal size-12 listing also lacks an explicit wide designation in its listing title.
A different model changes the decision
Nautilus Stratus N1911 is listed here in 13 Wide too, but its manufacturer specifies an aluminum-alloy toe and static-dissipative design. It is not a direct steel-toe substitute for this Cankton. If the job allows alloy and requires SD, that distinction may lead toward the Nautilus; if it requires steel or another electrical classification, the shared size is irrelevant.
Skechers’ Cankton model source establishes the steel-toe work-shoe identity. It does not support a claim that larger sizes relieve fatigue, last longer or suit heavier workers better. Fit and the accepted workplace specification remain the meaningful reasons to buy this particular variant.
