A smaller size of the established Chore
The manufacturer’s CHS000A specification lists a 5mm neoprene bootie beneath a rubber overlay, with a steel shank and additional toe and heel reinforcement. The size-9 selection is the same named construction as the size-12 Chore; choose between them by fit rather than expecting a different protective design.
The shaft can be useful for muddy yard work and other tasks involving repeated splashes. Before choosing it for an industrial setting, establish the site’s actual footwear requirements. A product named Chore does not promise suitability for every agricultural chemical, machine area or wet electrical environment.
Assessing the size-9 fit
Try both boots with work socks and let your foot settle against the footbed. The forefoot should not meet the cap when you step down or kneel. If the upper feels roomy while the cap crowds the toes, adding a bulky insole can make the toe clearance worse instead of correcting the underlying shape.
Check the shaft as well as the foot. A cuff that catches on clothing or presses into the leg can become irritating during repeated crouching. If you prefer to tune the fit across the top of the foot, a lace-up work boot gives you an adjustment this pull-on cannot offer.
A fair alternative comparison
The Servus PVC option is a different construction, while another Chore size is simply another fit choice. Compare those materials and the required coverage before comparing prices. We do not have first-hand durability or slip-test results for this ASIN.
